and the Tara River are under
UNESCO protection, and with the
proclamation of Montenegro as
the first ecological state in the
world in 1991, the town of
Zabljak was declared its
ecological capital. Althought it is
primarily a winter tourism center,
due to its natural beauty, Zabljak
attracts equally a large number
of tourists during the summer.
Hiking, skiing, swimming, rafting,
bungee jumping, biking are just
some of the activities that
tourists can enjoy in this area.
